We were born into sin but one whom the Lord takes for Himself DOES NOT CONTINUE to sin. They are kept by the grace (unmerited power and favor) given by God to do so. That's the entire point of Romans 7 (being a slave to sin) and Romans 8 (being freed from it). God does not give His Spirit to "sinners saved by grace" but to those who prove obedient, like Cornelius.
Posers, liars and devils do come in His name and those are the "sinner saved by grace" people. Using grace as an excuse for sins is a Christian hallmark but it doesn't work that way.
As far as Donald Trump, I know his real role on earth and he IS the rightful president but I fear for this world. God appoints leaders, for good and evil. Remember that.
It's not correct to say unless you are living a perfect sinless life you won't gain entry to heaven. None of us are perfect. And our best works are filthy rags. It is absolutely trying to be more Christ like on this earth and having a savior who took it all past, present and future is what should drive us to be better. And agreed not be the once saved always saved I can do what I want group. It's continually a work in progress but we humans are always going to fall short.
"Those who endure to the end WILL BE saved."
Revelation 22: "Blessed are they who KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, for THEY will have the right to the tree of life.
I'm 100% correct. It's not about what man can or can't do, homie. It's about what God can do. The reason why you disagree is because your claim is all you've ever known and heard but the Bible doesn't support your notion. Much to the contrary. The cabal didn't just overlook religion, my friend but I'm not faulting you.
"My people perish (die in their sins) for lack of knowledge"
"With men these things are impossible but, with God, all things are possible."
That includes living a sinless life after the Lord draws you to repentance (a turning away from sin for all-time) unless God is a liar. His grace is strong enough to keep you.
When Paul speaks of casting off corruption for incorruption, he's not talking about after we die but a present reality in the flesh.
God requires and demands a spotless bride.
Thank you for your kind and brotherly response. I attend a Bible based church. May I ask what your denomination is or non denominational? I will pray on what you said as I only strive to follow Jesus and seek 1st the kingdom, for my heart to want and hurt what hurts God's.
No problem whatsoever. I'm glad to help if and when I can. I'm not associated with any denomination or 501(C)(3) church. The best I can really do is link you to the site where I learned about the Lord.
Growing up, I was constantly at church and my background there is primarily Pentecostal/ Assemblies of God. I learned a lot there but I didn't know as much about God until I left the traditional church. There were too many questions without answers and too many discrepancies concerning their doctrine compared to the Bible. I left the church and searched elsewhere.
I believe that the Lord brought me too the site because everything just clicked, like I had opened my eyes for the first time.

There's so much there, so much knowledge. Even if it doesn't appeal to you, that's absolutely fine but you may actually find yourself in agreement.
My best to you, fren
