They're trying to normalize pedophilia because they are child rapists. They are trying to normalize looting because they are thieves. They are trying to normalize racism because they're racists. They're trying to normalize murder because they have killed millions. They're trying to normalize satanism because they are Satan worshippers.
They are trying to normalize poverty because they are morally bankrupt.
U know it sucks because every media company has been taken over by non Christians and now all they do is shot on Christians. Like I remember when movies used to portray Christians in a positive light even if the plot was somewhat sinister. Now they make it seem almost like a nuisance rather than a way of life.
A lot of anime has Christian themes, if you can tolerate the depicted evil for long enough to see it snuffed out by good.
Where American entertainment avoids it, afterlife and heaven are very common in anime, for example.
Spirit, belief, faith, prayer, meditation... and a lot of inner conflicts and moralities are explored in battle, and out of it.
This is one advantage we have over other religions, who scream blasphemy if someone so much as draws an illustration of a person from their holy texts.
What are some good anime series?
Before I can answer that, I must ask - what is it you are looking for? Joy? Hope? Truth? Thrill? Dark? Desperation? Light? Inspiration? What relates best to you and your situation? With what does your soul desire to be filled? The eyes are the window to the soul... we must be careful with what fills our vision!
Also, would this be your first anime? The genre can get a bad rap from people who were unlucky in choosing their first one.
The choice really depends on where you’re at in life. Your experiences and how you are feeling right now. Like Q says, be careful who we follow (and the entertainment we consume). The subconscious absorbs a lot!
Also, since you seem to like guitar, I should mention the animes I choose to watch always have such amazing and beautiful music... the range of emotions conveyed can be really invigorating. Music is really what reels me in.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Finally got an answer for you. An interesting musical score. Been following works by Shinichiro Watanabe, namely Bebop, Champloo, and Kids on the Slope. All them are marked by interesting relationships to music.
I recommend Demon Slayer. Widely popular for a reason.
Dragon ball Z!
Not to weeb out but ever wqtch Fate Stay Night, and Fate Stay Night unlimited blade works? Loved that show, also lots of Christian symbolism in it that I liked overall. Sure priest guy was fake but that's what made the story fun. . . I hope I don't get grilled by the folks here :(
