You see since the Bible was brought up you've not ceased to mention it as YOU Christians, YOUR Bible. Sounds like you separate yourself from being included in the Christian label.
I've enjoyed conversing with you and would love to know what made you walk away from the faith. I respect your reasoning for the points you listed in the other comments. I would argue those other points if you weren't 100% true on that statement. My only argument against that is that the Bible standalone exposes those that would falsely take advantage of it in that God will judge them accordingly regardless of our actions. To the one that has ears to hear; they listen to and abide by the scriptures before they abide by the man quoting them. I'd love to hear more of why you are no longer Christian though. To not pollute this post too much, I suggest we PM each other. Please feel free to message me your story. I would love to hear it. You are a sincere dude, that much is clear. I'm sure that you have good reason as to why you left the faith. It would even seem that the faith had a very strong hand in the very inflicting of the abuse you suffered. If you be willing; please message me your story, fren.
That's fine. Happy to keep conversing if ya want but my main focus is to call out dogmatic thinking where I see it. The #1 source of this on these boards is Christianity that hasn't questioned itself with the same rigorous standards it uses for the politicians, journalists, doctors, and scientists.
And mine is to represent the biblical Christians who in fact do walk in the Holy Spirit and hold themselves accountable to be just as Our Master, Jesus Christ.
