Look up the Trivium and Quadrivium. One room schoolhouses kind of sort of implement the main function of the trivium method out of necessity.

A trivium based class has students learning things, processing it in their heads, and then teaching it to someone else.
A one room schoolhouse has different age groups so the teacher teaches so the older kids can understand, process, and teach to a younger learner, who processes and teaches to a younger learner, and so on, until the little kids get a good summary of what the older kids were talking about.
Schools now just cram shit into your head and make you regurgitate it out onto a test, and teach nobody.
There's quite a bit more to the Trivium than just that, but that's a key advantage.
Why do you think Bill Gates doesn't let his kids go to Common Core schools? Rich kids get properly educated, and none of us normal people are going to trivium based schools.

The proper order, both as school subjects and as steps in processing information is:
This is the future! Less bureaucracy. No school shooters, troubled kids are identified and treated. Small groups discourage slutty behavior, violence, etc.

And cut out all the dumb shit, and school can go until noon, with athletics and wood shop, ag, etc filling in the remainder.
In most states, homeschooled kids are allowed to participate in public school sports. I think there were some lawsuits about the fact that since the parents are still paying school district taxes......you get the point.
I support locally controlled schools teaching the core subjects as they were taught before liberals messed them up. Take back the schools one school board and one state at a time. Defund the Dept. Of Education and stop the insanity with rules for Special Ed, 504, dyslexia, at-risk and most importantly, do not identify anyone by race or report test scores by race or discipline by race.
Attack me now. But private schools do not have to take special education children. They exist. Some become the hardest working people and are very successful in life. I want legal immigrants to assimilate. That does not happen in private schools if everyone is just like that kid.
My daughters in one. Pulled her out of the system after the writing was on the wall that they were coming for them. Also had enough of dealing with the school board trying to force her to wear a mask (in a room full of gr. 2, she was the only one not wearing) and we told her if she doesn’t want to, not to wear one. So after a teacher left because of the bullshit, some parents got together and offered to set up a pod school. Very small class so far and the results are day and night with my kid. The teacher loves it and says she’ll never go back.
This is absolutely a great idea. An answer to those who want an intimate learning environment for their kids, but are not in the position to homeschool.

There are a few homeschool pods here in Utah.
Talk about ideal organic clustering. The kids will grow near there.
Private schools work so much BETTER than government schools it makes you wonder why we ever even started "government schooling."
