Monopoly, for me at least, has always been one of those games play every so often, because you forget why you don't play it very often, only to remember while you're setting up the board. Unfortunately, by that point, you're stuck, because you've five other people also remembering why they don't play it, but everybody's too polite to beg off, so you're all stuck for the next four hours.
It's a more sentimental value to my heart.

I won a multi-hour game of Risk against 2 adults when I was a kid.
