Black comedy is a coping mechanism when you're in a fucked up situation. It's like being in line for the gallows and asking the executioner if the rope will make your ass look big.

😁
The "black comedy" label was invented to avoid trying to explain irony to idiots.
The energy of that “comedy” is right in the name.
This is “comedy” developed and promoted by people that hate God, hate life, hate humanity, and hate Creation; that was then extended out to and presented to God’s children as something acceptable and good to embrace. It is “comedy” of abject despair, and I don’t understand why so many are arguing for it.
Given the general vibe of this place I wouldn’t think this would be something so complicated to understand, but maybe I misunderstood what was happening here.
You all understand that our politics and entertainment are rife with satanists and satanic deceptions; yet are defending these dark thoughts and words because “it’s just a joke, bro”.
The scripture is pretty clear on how serious these things are.
Like you wouldn’t think you would have to explain why joking about these things that the elite parasites do to us and our children in a casual manner like this is not good for your mind and spirit, but here we are.
Because you're looking at it in a way almost completely backward to the way the gallows humorist does. It's not people "giving in" to despair, it's people laughing in the face of overwhelming odds and refusing to surrender to despair. I often say, "as long as we can laugh, we have hope," because that's exactly what comedy, even black comedy, is, hope distilled to it's purest form. Comedy of this sort has gotten me through some truly dark periods of my life, simply because it allowed me to face the hardships. It's not something you surrender to, it's something you have to search for, to find. Giving up is easy, rooting out the absurdity in a moment of personal pain and misery is hard, drawing strength from that absurdity is even harder.
Just so you don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to attack you, just share my perspective. You're certainly entitled to your point of view.
Oh no I do appreciate your point of view on it, and your example is a good point.
There is laughing in the face of evil like your example, and then there is this normalization of their evil via the conditioning of modern entertainment.
It’s a precarious world we are in and I just want people to be more aware of how they navigate it.
Your words and thoughts have power and it’s best to put them on things that are true and righteous. 😇
For what it's worth, human meat is not something I've ever eaten or would ever want to eat (you'd be shocked what someone might do in a desperate situation to survive, though, just saying), lol.
I respectfully have to disagree here. Sometimes, and especially in these times, certain personalities HAVE to laugh and joke to vent their frustration otherwise they're going to go full postal. The Lord knows the hearts of these people, not us. It's similar to being taught to smile to avoid gagging at something gross or disgusting because for some unknown reason the body can't smile and gag at the same time.
You know what you make a good point too, and I would hope that nobody is teetering on the edge like that here.
Ideally it could be done in more positive ways, but we are all at different points and experiences on this journey.
However, nobody should have to condition themselves to smile at the gross and disgusting, much in the same way we shouldn’t lessen the severity of what they have been doing by continuing the normalization of the things they celebrate. They started that normalization long before any of us were born so in some ways it’s all we know, but the scripture is clear on these things.
Their world falls apart more and more when we take the steps of ending our perpetuation of it.
We need to stop giving power to the darkness with our words and actions.
You said it better than I ever could.
