Since facts and reality prove that liberal ideas don't work in practice the followers of liberalism must practice mental gymnastics to continue to support those policies. They end up nuttier than a fruitcake. All of the ones who could do logic ended up red-pilled conservatives.
Don’t believe your eyes, don’t rely on facts, just lean hard on your emotions, truth is what you want it to be.
Very little to do with their emotions and a great deal to do with weak ability to discriminate truth from falsehood and thus vulnerability to brainwashing.
Too little nature, too much tv and smarty phone. No reality reference. No judgement standard. Plasticized minds. Need for acceptance. Simple to control. Easy to "educate" with lies like "climate" and "pandemic". Internal weakness.
Most of them in the lower half physically and intellectually.

And yet they want to be ruled by socialism and communism. . . .

It's "their" crisis, not ours.
Donald Trump gave more power back to middle class, that's a crisis for the elites. They won't meet their Agenda 2030 goals unless they start acting fast.
I believe it's an oxymoron.
