Wife and I were worn out from a month of insanity, and wanted a way to wind down together. We thought "Hey, we used to LOVE the show Survivor! Let's check it out!"
So we sign up for Paramount+ to get our Survivor on!
Didn't even make it through the first episode. First off like a 3rd of the people are "Medical personnel" in some way shape or form so you know that means they are going to play up the clot shot.
Then they have multiple queer/gay characters which is not all that surprising, but this one guy has his sob story about missing his adopted daughter while his transgender pregnant husband works full-time.
Then the host asks "for 20 years, i've been saying 'come on in guys' is it time to retire that because of the word guys?" And the answer is YES!
The guy who said yes we should drop the word "guys" is like "survivor has changed so much in twenty years, now theres black and brown and LGBT people playing..." LITERALLY THE FIRST WINNER OF SURVIVOR WAS GAY!
I just...
We didn't finish the episode and cancelled paramount plus.
What's wrong with saying guys? I grew up in central Ohio and that's how you say, y'all. It's so annoying how they're constantly trying to change our language.
He also had no problem with it at first, then backtracked and said he did the next day. I think he actually DOESN’T have a problem with it, but he knew all the trannies who DO would come after him on social media once the show aired, and decided to just avoid all the bullshit. Think of all the nonsense they would throw at him. “How dare you claim to speak for all trannies blah blah blah.”
Of course it was all a fake controversy anyway and no one actually cared. Meanwhile we have photos of Jeff Probst on Epstein Island, so part of this is probably him going look at this terrible mistake I made over here, saying “guys”, and punish me for that, dear mob, and not my involvement with child traffickers over here.
