Has anyone watched it? My husband does and I pay attention when I'm in the room with him. I do enjoy James Spader and he's quite good in this role. I like his dark character who is willing to take care of business. Is he considered a white hat type?

He's a grey hat in this series.
He takes out very very bad guys, but makes a profit under the table doing it. A study in the Jungian Dialectic. Think Dexter.
The first episode KICKED ASS and I was hooked for about 8 -9 episodes until I realized that every episode was basically the same. As predictable as a Scooby Do mystery.
You mean kinda like the Hegelian Dialectic we call "reality"?

I can see that. We're on season three and it's gotten pretty good, from what I pay attention to. ;)
