Its not cumin as we know it, its something else that does not have an English name.
It doesn't grow in English speaking areas of the world and is known as Kalonji and has blue star shaped leaves, it can be confused with fennel and love-in-a-mist as well.
The black cumin seed that I have been taking is in a caplet form. I order it from Life Extension and have been taking it for at least 8 months. I also get my quercetin from them. Also, look into wild oil of oregano.
I'm taking that along with every other recommended supplement, as well as horsey paste and HCQ every other day, and I'm going on day 9 of this bullshit. This bug is no joke, Frens. Also doing nasal rinse and nebulizer with peroxide and iodine. It's kicking my ass. Yay for my eventual natural immunity, but it will be hard earned, that's for sure.
Been taking it for cancer fighting properties as well. Have to stop for a week for upcoming surgery (all supplements) praying I don't get the cold my kids all have.
Like all supplements there is good quality and bad quality. IDK what the actual difference is but I picked some up online (swanson health i think?) for $4 a jar. Then my mother got some for $30.
Again, maybe someone smarter then me could explain the potential differences, but if you are using this to treat/prevent covid make sure you get good quality oil.
I've been doing this for some time now and I can attest to the efficacy of black seed oil.. Once when I ran out, I could feel fatigue set in and when my resupply came 2 capsules and the next day speed walking came back.. 😊
In the hadiths, the written traditions/narrations about Muhammad, and regarded by Muslims as either weak or authentic (sahih), both black seed and honey are mentioned as cures for various ailments.
Here's the hadith about black seed AKA black cumin.
Narrated Khalid bin Sad: We went out and Ghalib bin Abjar was accompanying us. He fell ill on the way and when we arrived at Medina he was still sick. Ibn Abi 'Atiq came to visit him and said to us, "Treat him with black cumin. Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture into both nostrils, for 'Aisha has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet saying, 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As-Sam.' Aisha said, 'What is As-Sam?' He said, 'Death."
(Book #71, Hadith #591, Bukhari)
Nothing wrong with honey, and it also has antimicrobial properties, but black seed oil can be taken on its own.
So is black cumin seed, either in oil or pill form.
Nigella Sativa is black cumin🤗
Ah... I did not KNOW that. I'm starting on it this week, adding it to my vitamin and supplement regimen.

I'll do that, thanks.
One of my Indian cuisine cookbooks lists nigella sativa as a common ingredient.
Just ordered some black cumin seeds to stock my spice pantry.
Tastes (The oil) like really strong thyme. Because it is 2% thymol, plus a lot of other things.

Cold pressed oil is best..

Thanks Pede, Merry Christmas!
YW, and a very merry Christmas and a happy (the best is yet to come) New Year!!
Don’t you do something with it with honey?
You can take it with honey because it's got a strong taste, but honey is not needed.
It is needed, no Kalonji recipes or treatments say it isn't.
I remember reading something about honey enhancing the black seed oil.
It was probably a Muslim source.

It does. It far older than Islam though, its the oldest medicine we know of.
Traditionally called Pharoahs oil... Capsule form + using Stakich's pure honey as sweetener fulfills that..
