I live in a suburb of the Minneapolis, and currently those wearing masks are clearly the minority.--probably around 20%. If I drive down to the small towns to visit family, it is very rare to ever find someone wearing a mask.
Today I went to a Swedish grocery store in Minneapolis to get some things for Christmas. The store was full of about 30 people wearing masks, and I was the only customer that was unmasked. I was preparing myself to be asked to leave for not abiding to city regulations or store requests when I noticed that all of the workers (probably owners) behind the meat counter were also unmasked.
I was very glad to give this store my patronage. As for the the other customers... people really have a LOT of waking up to do still.
Here's a good phrase that I use to show places like this my gratitude, 'The freedom of your store keeps me coming back.' They are always glad to hear it.
Definitely. Cook county Illinois...full of moronic mask drones
NW Illinois and Wisconsin....much less mask use and definitely no mask Nazis like crook county
Agree. Had a mask Karen say something to me yesterday as I was leaving Jewel. Thay have become emboldened again. I politely told her she would be less miserable if she would learn to MYOB. Then wished her a Merry Christmas Pretty sure she wasn't Christian
DMV area is the worst. Full of government boot lickers. Masks everywhere.
I've discovered that mask-wearing is dependent upon the type of store it is.
Grocery stores, where the mix is about 50/50 Democrat to Republican, are about 50% masked.
Go to a store that liberals are attracted to and the percentage masked goes way up.
Go to a store that conservatives are attracted to and the percentage masked drops significantly.
How can you tell the liberals? Crayola hair and bumper stickers all over their cars. Kek!
Boone NC. Watching these folks hold onto their delusions, sorry, I mean masks, with all their strength.
My AZ town is big in seniors, 70% mask up. Younger people tend to mask up. Its us in the middle that are really maskless. Then the town over with less seniors are hardly ever masked. Love shopping there. Sad to see them so fearful
