I got a new phone, but it won't have a SIM card in it, same as the old one. It will always be in airplane mode. No one can call me. No ads can pop up in the middle of my little games. It has a jack so I can use my good headphones to listen to my own music. It has a huge SD card full of reading material, such as "None Dare Call It Conspiracy," "Behold A Pale Horse," etc.
My wife is wonderful:) She gave me a handmade watch cap ....red with 'MAGA' in white letters, an actual PAPER road atlas, and The Lord of the Rings Triology in 4k:) Merry Christmas all!
We do the same but add a silly white elephant gift exchange which can be used items or really anything. Sometimes the gifts are awful but the laughs are good.
I got all I asked for...... A kind word from friends and family. Bless you all.

We went for a mixture of exotic and practical - lava lamp, Japanese trowel, retro popcorn maker and tactical pen. Kinda called for in these times.
