This is a type of strawman argument because it ignores the option to say NOTHING. If he did not recommend one way or the other, he would not be seen as anti vax. However he recommended to his rally goers at EVERY RALLY to take the clot shot.
You really think a reality exists in which Trump would have been able to completely avoid giving a stance on the vaccines this entire time?
By straight up ignoring the issue, or deflecting the question, even when asked directly, would cause a reaction as well.
Think back to when Trump was repeatedly badgered by the media who claimed he refused to denounce the White supremacists in Charlottesville.
The whole "very fine people" hoax that was generated out of sheer spite for Trump, solely because the opportunity to do so was there.
If Trump didn't publicly show support for the vaccines, such another opportunity to weaponize his not taking a clear definitive stance would manifest.
Whatever the case, either A) Trump made a calculated decision based on knowledge we are not privy to and understands game theory very well. Or B) Trump is controlled opposition and has been secretly in league with the cabal players this whole time and was only feigning to be their opposition.
Those are the only two options I really see available.
Be careful, I like Trump, but don't think for a second that the whole thing is a well orchestrated plan. In 1814 the Cabal knew thy must control all actors in a crisis, so Trump could be the other side they control. Now, I hope I am wrong, but do not think for a second that possibility is impossible, because it can.
Every. Single. Rally. Everyday basically, he was hammering it to his base. Once a week on a liberal Sunday morning talk show would have been enough. He went above and beyond any sort of perfunctory stance with his rhetoric and his frequency.
Hm. He has option to say nothing but purposely touts virtues of jab to his loyal base, who vehemently oppose him on this before cameras. Pretty obvious to me what that accomplishes. If I'm anti-vax, I most likely feel alone and isolated in my opinion with the media propaganda. Yet I see thousands of ppl protesting the vax at the rallies. Now I don't feel so alone. It encourages doubters to search it out. Also, proves we love Trump yet feel totally free to disagree with him publicly and vehemently.
Dude, have you even fucking HEARD of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY? Do you REALLY take medical advice from fucking money men on a regular basis? I know most "Trump supporters" don't. So, people who support Trump don't always do as he says. Why? He isn't a fucking medical expert. He admitted as much himself many times. He knows how money works, and I'd go to him for FINANCIAL advice, but he is REALLY fucking low on the list of people I'd take medical advice from. If you can't think for yourself, that's a you problem. Which means, sort your shit out or STFU.
There are business owners who are Trump supporters who felt empowered to mandate their employees to take the shot. Did Trump's shilling affect that at all, you think?
You really think a reality exists in which Trump would have been able to completely avoid giving a stance on the vaccines this entire time?
Strawman argument. A really tired one. The problem isn't with him not "completely avoiding" discussion. It's that he pushed it, unprompted, at all of his rallies and on all conservative media. Just read this quote, it's sickening.
"I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don't want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly," "It is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine and it is something that works," "It works incredibly well. 95%, maybe even more than that...and it is really saving our country and it is saving frankly the world."
When you say "we" who exactly does that extend to? Because a lot of people in red states work for companies which are mandating it. Those companies perhaps are run by Trump supporters, who wouldn't be so empowered if Trump wasn't pushing for them.
The problem there is you’re quoting from Fox News, which is msm and fake news. That’s not evidence he said those things—but it is evidence he never said those things. I bet you won’t find OAN or RSBN with those quotes.
You must be joking. I heard it with my own ears, you can find videos all over the place. Were you watching his rallies? At CPAC he literally said "everybody go get your shot"
Yes I'm well aware he said that. Which brings us to another point of contention. Does POTUS actually have the awareness we suspect he should? Regarding the fact that an unjustifiable amount of adverse reactions are being produced for vaccines which have demonstrated rapidly decreasing efficacy and thus should be unjustifiable to even have allowed to continue rolling them out.
Either A) he's completely oblivious and hasn't taken any initiative to actually examining the results of this mass vaccination program, or B) he knows very well the damage its causing and is happy to push it because he has been a part of the swamp all along, or C) he is playing the long game here and understands game theory on a level we couldn't begin to contemplate and knows very well that there will be casualties as a consequence of his words.
If he did not recommend one way or the other, he would not be seen as anti vax.
I don't believe that is true. Anything other than coming out in favor would be interpreted as he is really anti-vaxx due to "his movement being anti-vaxxers".
Saying nothing or trying to take the middle ground is basically the same as being anti-vaxx. At least in the hyper polarized MSM. And at least when it comes to Trump, their favorite person to polarize with.
We have reached a point in which Trump knows that anyone who could possibly be convinced to take the vaccine has already done so, and the rest of us are steadfast. No minds are going to change, so he used the opportunity to his advantage. Now everyone from left to right is airing his interview and praising him, which is increasing his publicity to normies.
I think he just used a no-loss situation for a win. No one is going to see that interview and say “Well I better go get vaxxed!”. The lines have already been drawn and boldly. This was a chess move
4 of my friends literally changed their minds BECAUSE OF TRUMP'S RECENT APOLOGY TOUR. Minds Are going to change, and Have, because of his outpour of advocacy.
#1. The vaccines don't fucking work. The data is right there in front of us. He knows the data.
#2. They are forcing it on people. People have lost lives, their livelihoods, their loved ones from this vaccine.
#3. Highly renown doctors and scientist have come out against this gene therapy. One within Trump's cabinet.
The whole chess thing is a non-argument. We are under attack and the vaccines are a part of this attack. I'm not trying to be a doomer, as I have hope that we will come through this BS. But I am skeptical and question everything.
The fact is that Trump says we have a choice, but he also knows how much his voice has weight with the silent majority.
Unless this is a sacrifice from him when the time comes and people need to be prosecuted, I see no other political argument. The lefties that hate Trump will never not hate him. There is no upside to him doing this. He is losing his base by doing this.
When he runs again, he will not lose. So the whole argument where he needs to gain supporters is BS. He has it in the bag and we all know it. If anything, this is a terrible political decision. Bad actor or not, I believe that he has a really strong personality. Those with the type of personality have faults, and this may be the reason. He said it himself, he will not back down from the "miracle" the vaccines were. This is a personality thing. I don't believe he is a black hat. But doing this, he will look back and realize it was the most disastrous decision he has ever made.
He will regret this the most out of all of his regrets.
The whole argument is a non-argument because he knows his base will not take it. The lefties cling to this vaccine. They just short of worship it. What Trump did accomplished two things. It got him in leftie circles, and it reminded people that for all intents and purposes, he is the one that brought them these shots they seem to love so much. His voice holds weight, sure, but he also knows that he got booed for promoting the vaccine at a rally. It’s pretty certain that we won’t budge and he knows it. We are talking about a man who said himself no publicity is bad publicity

Aside from that, Merry Christmas dude.

he's trying to win over the lefties. we are smart enough to not take the vax
When you say "we" who exactly does that extend to? Because a lot of people in red states work for companies which are mandating it. Those companies perhaps are run by Trump supporters, who wouldn't be so empowered if Trump wasn't pushing for them.

Yep
And what if pushing the vax kills less overall than if he didn't push it?
I don't believe that is true. Anything other than coming out in favor would be interpreted as he is really anti-vaxx due to "his movement being anti-vaxxers".

True. And I think he wants to separate the peoples movement from him bc he knows he is polarizing.
Anyone promoting the “vaccine” products is not expecting those with clarity to take it.
Anytime a white hat tells you and yours to take it, consider it scripted advice to safely ignore.
Read between the lines.
It is a filtering process.

We’re F o o k e d...! Can’t defend this anymore. God speed folks - were on our own.
Let's stop with this chess stuff.
#1. The vaccines don't fucking work. The data is right there in front of us. He knows the data.

Every person he could even possibly potentially sway to vote red is a vote taken from blue, and every single vote taken from them is a good thing
Did he really have to say all this? Really?
I'm certain we will find out in due time now won't we? Every lie will be revealed.
why not, if it doesnt change anyone's mind
Fine, not nothing. But not "I highly recommend it". How bout "do your research, take it if you want, don't take it if you don't want. I'm not licensed to give medical advice"
Not saying anything equals anti vax. Whether true, or just in the eyes of the left and the media.
True!
