The TV pushes the most degenerate garbage smut. Feel bad for our elderly who spend so much time consooming screentime. Those daytime soaps are nothing more than a soft-core satanic porno.

Agreed. I used to love watching Prime movies and netflix and now i just look at the titles and movies and think what a circle jerk they are designed to waste my time and scramble my brain. So much of our “culture” is fucking junk food

The programming is done through the media they produce. But this was not a simple operation. They had to lure us in with compelling stories and quality entertainment and slowly turn the escapism into mindless fun and now it's overloaded with woke garbage and cabal ideals...
Except that of course there is one thorn in their side: Independent media. If the internet didn't explode the way it did in the early 2000's we would not have the world we do now. We would be controlled and corralled. But because we have media that isn't controlled by the cabal, their little brain tool has failed.
And that's what TV and media still is at the end of the day: a tool. The Amish may be free from the burdens of technology, but they are wrong in their assertions. Technology is not inherently evil. It just simply is. How its used is what matters.

The ones who choose to stay willingly are. Unfortunately not every Amish child is given the same opportunity to choose for themselves and that's a problem. They are getting better about allowing outsiders to join their lifestyle, but it still needs improvement. If they laid out a list of simple rules to follow that didn't require a spiritual commitment, their numbers would likely increase healthily over time while their children choosing to stay or go wouldn't have as much of an impact on their culture.

I’m glad I’ve greatly reduced my tv consumption over the last 5 years. Cut the cord in 2018 and haven’t looked back. When I had tv service before, if nothing I wanted to watch was on I would put it on Fox. Just cutting out the toilet stream media has made my life much better. Like Rush Limbaugh used to say media will make you sick.
