I just got back from getting together with family. Fortunately, my extended family is not completely psychotic. Most have received the jab but only because of pressure from their job. No one has been ostracized for refusing it, although I am the only one vehemently opposed. My uncle, aunts and cousins are all jabbed except for one who is a teacher and is holding out while her union fights the school district over mandates. My parents are unjabbed and will remain so. All of us still got together for dinner and no one wore a mask at any time. At dinner I was heavily outnumbered and so I decided to bite my tongue and just listen to what others were saying. A few times the topic of covid got brought up and the general feeling was that everyone is tired of all the requirements and think its stupid, especially the testing requirements. One of my aunts is double jabbed and still is required to get a PCR test twice a week because she works in a nursing home. My brother flew in from Europe and he needed to get tested before coming and again before leaving. He said it was ridiculously difficult to find a testing center in the states, but in EU they have walk in testing centers everywhere. Another cousin said he got covid last year before the jabs came out and it was nothing but a cough and sniffles for a few days, however he later got the J&J shot and it made him extremely sick for almost a week. He said he's not taking any more shots.
I did try to throw out a few red pills to my brother and uncle but that was met with laughter and complete dismissal. In the car I tried to ask my uncle "do you think it's wise to deploy a brand new vaccine onto the entire human population with no safety testing?" I couldn't even finish the question before he just kept repeating "Yes, it's wise. Yes, it's wise..." Basically, "Lalalalala I can't hear you." The one point that may have planted a seed was saying the vax is not fully approved, but authorized for emergency use. He didn't know the difference and after I explained it he said "well, I'll have to look into that."
My brother is a smart guy but he works as a government contractor and fully believes that the virus is real and all these restrictions are a genuine effort by the government to control the spread. I tried telling him about the PCR test and how it's technically impossible for it to give the kind of results they are claiming and the inventor even said so. That was immediately dismissed and his counterargument was "oh, so the entire medical field in the whole world got it wrong but YOU know better, huh?"
So at the end of the day, my takeaway is this:
Sometimes, you can't tell the people the truth, you have to show them. So here's to an interesting 2022.
Good post. Totally get where you’re coming from. I don’t even try to engage family and friends in any kind of rational discussion any longer. They look at me like I’m from Neptune. I even find myself thinking to myself....”yeah, you’ll get it in the near future when I’m burying your ass”.
I only engage when it appears someone is open to listening. Only problem with that is they shut down whenever they hear something they don't want to hear. My neighbor across the street asked if the wife and I are jabbed - when we both said "no" he acted shocked and confused. He then asked us "why not" and then acted even more confused when we took turns telling him our reasons. His only response was "but how much worse would it be if not for the vaxx?". He's a nice guy and in his 80s so I treated him with respect but all I kept thinking while talking with him is " Why did you ask if you aren't really interested in the answer? "
Had a few people say the same thing to me. "You'll be sorry when you get the virus and wish you had gotten the vaccine."
How to respond to that other than a facepalm?
I would say “thank you doctor so and so for your expert medical advice, and you didn’t even have to examine me”
Most people don’t want to hear bad news about a decision they already committed to. It is amazing though how many people seem to be interested in whether I was injected or not. The question is intrusive and they already draw a judgement about you if you answer. If I am feeling playful, I’ll just say something like “you do know that it’s technically not a vaccine?” Most people do not realize that the definition of “vaccine” was only changed weeks before they began rolling it out. It’s not a threatening question but can provoke further research in some.
I usually do not make a big deal about the substance, rather I focus on the mandate itself and that I don’t believe the government or your job should be able to enforce this in any type of discriminatory way.
People put all kinds of shit in their bodies and it is for the most part, a choice you are free to make. But if you are reading this, you already know all that.
Right, you have to show them, no other way. After a year of Covid and vax battles in the family, this Christmas we just came together and had good food and beverage. Before going into IT, I was a chef and I'm able to cook some quite delicious meals. Instead of me, being the red pill elephant in the room, I just spread love and food and was an absolute nice guy. This worked wonders, we had three days of harmony, almost a pre-2019 gathering. The NPCs are tired, they know there's something going on, but they can't grab it, yet. An interesting 2022 is what I expect, just let's see what happens.
The 5th or 6th "booster" (I remind them it's the same as all the others they've had) should start waking them up just a little!
Here's a thought. Supposedly the original plan was to space out the injections long enough that the sheeple wouldn't notice anything strange until everyone just got used to annual injections and adding more and more regular shots to the total schedule. OWS sped up not only the release of this vax, but all future doses since the DS is now on a time crunch to get everyone injected before enough people wake up. One of the biggest redpills is these variants coming out so fast that even normies are starting to figure it out.
There is a lot of merit in what you say about the spacing. For sure they wouldn't have attacked with these things all at once, it would appear to conclusive. But I also get the feeling the timing has been played with, as the DS seem hell bent on pushing as hard as they can, the more natural way would you would think take longer.
Footballers in Europe for instance, people are noticing, and another 4 are dead this week.
Yes one more variant, lockdown for a prolonged period and or another "booster" will surely wake up even more.
Great point. I recently saw a meme that said something like, “have you noticed that when a new variant comes out, you never see anymore occurrences of the previous variant?
It’s really these obviously stupid questions that are the best mic-drop
this one?
That’s the one, still made me laugh when I clicked on it
My vaxxed relatives question the boosters, they won't take it. At least I hope so. But we didn't talk about that shit one single time. It was kind of a ceasefire. The battle still continues, but we had a small timeframe of peace caused by love. Because after all: I love them. They made their choices, I made mine.
I hear you, at some point if they don't wake up themselves nothing will, the positions just become more entrenched.
Love is all we have currently, and prayer.
Yes, and both, love and prayer, are powerful. I never thought this would work, I just tried. It worked. Never give up love, nor faith. Not all of them are lost, most are just misguided. Prayers to them. Military is the only way? What does the military do? Leaving not a single one of theirs behind.
We never leave our warriors behind, I served for 17 yrs and buried lot's of friends but we left no one behind, ever.
Unlike fcuktard in the WH and recently in Afghanistan.
We had 12 people at our home for Christmas. Turns out, 3 double jabbed. Rest of us are Not! The 3 that are, are refusing the booster, said they been more sick than ever since getting jabbed. My nephew said God has protected me from COVID. No need for me to get the jab! I said exactly. I still did a Iver prohpalactyic ( sorry know that's spelled wrong).
Ps. I gave out a box of ivermectin for Christmas! They can use it or not. But, that was my gift to my family! 🤩
This is a very good real post, thank you. One behavior that is difficult to rationalize is that of the vegan, This person is very concerned, even hyper-concerned about what they consume, so much so as they identify themselves as such. Yet, amazingly, many of them don't think twice about getting injected (consuming) with a foreign substance they have no idea what it comprises of.
I've just had a conversation with my cousin's daughter. I would usually have seen them over Christmas in years gone by, but after the family splitting up it hasn't happened since 2019.
Anyhow the daughter started filling me in on what has been going on with her mom. Christmas eve she started having very bad back and chest pains, and struggling to breathe. Christmas day was worse and so bad they need the EMS, and she was taking to hospital. Her CRP blood result was in the high 200's, which is incredibly high, indicating either severe inflammation or possible blood clot on the heart.
All they did was x-ray her and send her home with antibiotics saying it was likely a chest infection. My worry is it's a blood clot, she had her second stabbystabby about 3 months or so ago.
I've tried to tell the daughter she needs a D - dimer test to see if there's any micro clotting going, she is onside but remarkably my cousin still thinks it's all true and dismisses any idea she is unwell due to the jab. Oh and btw she tested neg several times for the coof.
Families are the last to listen.
Sorry I no longer care about saving anyone that thinks like this. They are the reason people are stuffing and I’m really struggling with my patience. This movie sucks and their stupidity is to blame! And yes I have some in my own family!
I feel your pain, fren. I spent this afternoon taking the slings and arrows from both friends and family. I've been ridiculed to within an inch of my life. I've been told I'm wrong about everything, I spend too much time on the computer, and I'm a conspiracy theorist (like this is a bad thing). You can't fix stupid and you can't save stupid, either.
You are absolutely correct, fren -- you can't tell people the truth. So, while I'm waiting for them to be shown the truth, I'm going to sit on top of this nice stone wall and fiddle while Rome burns and spend too much time on the computer. Anyone care to join me?
It's good you tried but since they still don't get it next time bring up their Will. Ask what type of tombstone or whether they want cremation when they pass. If they ask just say that you're simply preparing for what very well may be coming soon so that family has arrangements made. Be nice about it but say your goodbyes now so that you have closure with them while they're still here. They laugh now but when you're at the funeral you can whisper, "Who's laughing now? Cuz it still ain't me. I told you so. Love you"
Some people, who are mostly conservative, think that the likes of Fox news will give them the truth. My sister-in-law said her neighbor, also conservative, "had to" get the jab because he's a pilot and has 4 kids to support. I tried to tell her that he really did have a choice, and it's like playing Russian roulette.
Think I'll email her a few links for evidence.
Went through the past two-weeks and holidays without one conversation about the jab
