i had never heard of Ron Paul,
until i heard that someone was trying to censor Ron Paul...
The Streisand Effect kicked in, and so i wanted to hear for myself, what Ron Paul had to say...
and the things that Ron Paul said, kinda blew me away, and it puzzled me greatly as to WHY the media was actively censoring him.
the censorship, un-personing, the de-platforming, was every day.
if there was a TV news poll of leading candidates, Ron Paul's name would "accidentally" get left off the poll.
Ron Paul would be excluded from debates, etc.
They even went so far, as to fabricate a "Santorum Surge" to artificially inflate Rick Santorum's Iowa Caucus poll numbers into 2nd place, as a way to keep Ron Paul out of 2nd place,
but when you go back, and listen to what Ron Paul says, on almost any subject, you will find that he has a very intelligent, well-informed opinion on the matter.
and thats why he was a threat to the establishment,
and thats why he was censored constantly,
and thats why i had never heard of Ron Paul...
I belonged to the Daily Paul. Donated heavily what I could. Made me realize what liars and cheats MSM were, got me to stop watching "news " and network TV. I proudly displayed his bumper sticks and yard signs . Still love the guy . Watch his Liberty report when I see it.
theres only a few names in this world, that when i encounter them, i stop whatever I'm doing and listen.
Ron Paul is one of those names.
Yup. Same here.
Before American Thinker was cool, we had The Daily Paul
That's where I got the TRUE news. We were on top of all the happenings.
I got soundly banned from the Daily Paul a few hours after I called out the creator of that site for using Dr Paul's name to build up the site and then trying to rebrand it as if Ron Paul was dead to him. He tried to rebrand it as the Daily Prosperity AU (gold) Liberty. All that maneuvering to distance himself from Ron Paul, and then shut the site entirely down within a year. It was a sad ending to a great community.
I don't remember that change...strange.
Ah the Daily Paul! That sure takes me back.
The documentaries about the R3volution were something else. Even though I was following from my humble home in Melbourne, just watching the spontaneity of the movement gave me hope that something would really change, just not back then!
Michael Nystrom sure hosted a wonderful site. I cried the day it ended.
He sure did. I'll be forever grateful for Michael Nystrom's hosting of our community. If not for him, I don't think I'd've found my way here on the Great Awakening so easily, which reminds me so much of the Daily Paul.
The last time I searched, he'd moved from Boston to Seattle and finally to Taiwan by 2020. There, he co-founded a natural health food shop with his wife. They had relatives who'd passed away from bowel cancer, which led them wanting to promote good gut health with kombucha, superfoods and healthy eating lifestyles in his wife's homeland.
God Bless him wherever the Lord may call him!
