I’m sure that seemed like made up ‘techno-babble’ at the time. It probably fulfilled one of their ‘must tell the public’ rules, though.
Does anyone have any doubt that the Trilateral Commission was responsible for the script being written?
That was very much on point.
Although he's not in this scene, he was in the show and my played my favorite character, RIP Abe Vigoda, Det. Phil Fish.
100% agree. Best cast member! RIP Abe.
This reinforces for me that what we used to think of as comedy is now what we here recognize as truth. We are awake. We see the enemy. Their era is coming to a close. Any doubts I had have dissolved.
A few years ago I recorded and watched every episode in chronological order. I was a child when it originally aired. This episode stood out because of this scene. Amazing how much truth was in this scene.
Good thing you saved them. Like Looney Tunes, these shows will be BLACK LISTED and will be very difficult to get a hold of. Today's version of BOOK BURNING.
Sure did a good job making the concerns ridiculous.
Yup that was crazy beyond conspiracy theory wacko stuff in yesteryear. Today, it mainstream.
That was a good show.
I was. Unfortunately, now it comes with a warning "this program may be offensive as it shows outdated social norms". Most programs pre 80's are offensive to the sheeple. Personally, I find most programs(sit coms) on now offensive. Commercials too.
I can't watch ANY of the current stuff. TV is off unless family is here and we watch a movie together. On Christmas we watched classic Christmas specials from the 70's.
Same. Most of the pre 80's shows had a life lesson or moral to the story. Now, not so much. EVERYTHING is mixed races, same sex couple's and personal corruption.
😳😳
