Peak oil? No I think that’s another hoax. Oil is a renewable resource that naturally forms in the earths crust.
Yes, it could be renewable. Peak oil would still apply if we are extracting it faster than it is being formed,
Not a hoax. Just a continuing mis-estimation of petroleum reserves and resources. It keeps being pushed out, and keeps being overtaken by events. The idea of abiotic petroleum is not a majority theory, so don't be surprised if the mis-estimation continues.
