When Jesus died, he was given all the markings of a King, but done in mockery:
-
Two days before he was anointed for his burial by a woman bearing an alabaster flask, which his own disciples challenged him on, as an alabaster flask of fragrant oil was very expensive. This tracks a king's anointing before coronation.
-
They held an election between the Barabbas the Insurrectionary(not actually just a murderer, he slew a Roman officer while leading a resistance to free Judah from occupation), and Jesus.
-
He bore a crown of thorns, which punctured his skull.
-
He was scourged, which mimicked kings being fanned with palm fronds.
-
He briefly bore a red(violet and red were interchangeable in Greek) cape/robe.
-
He was judged and found unblemished by the Roman Governor (Pontius Pilate) who went on to place a INRIover him on the cross, basically doing the Roman paperwork necessary to designate him a King.
-
He was given Vinegar to drink and Gall(a curative oil).
-
He was punctured by a rod of iron / scepter. Notable that he was stabbed in the same place Adam had his rib removed, though no bones of Jesus were broken.
Basically.. The Romans and Pharisees unwittingly performed the entire Coronation Rite on Jesus, but in mockery.
I'm probably missing a few, but there are far more than enough to make the case that Jesus wasn't just a normal prophet. He truly was the King of Kings and just as he said, "they know not what they do", we really were clueless at the time that we were coronating him in the most savage way imaginable.
What indignant little jerks we are, aye?
If you want a follow up, check out the Supper of the Lamb and how Jesus IS the passover lamb (whose blood is shed so that death may pass-over the holdings of the Exodus-era Hebrews). All the apostles would have realized what Jesus was doing, performing the Temple Seder Passover Feast OUTSIDE the temple -- big no-no.
They would have been confused, however, that the lamb was not present. When Jesus said "I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom” he was telling them that the feast did not end there, and that he was to be the lamb. None of them understood, except maybe Judas, what was soon to come.
Some other parts of this ritual is the judgement by the authority. Whenever a sacrifice is to be given to God, it is judged to be unblemished. So a lamb, for instance, must be declared a "choice" offering free of blemish and sin. It can't be the funky lamb that walks funny.
Consider, what did Pontius Pilate do?
And Pilate said unto the chief priests and the multitudes, I find no fault in this man.
What about the vinegar laced with gall?
Read above about the Seder requiring bitter herbs as part of the Passover Ritual.
Yup, the entire Passion narrative is a series of Prophetic check-boxes affirming the identity of the Son of Man; the Messiah; the Christ; Emmanuel; the Right Hand of God.
The Lamb Seder Passover Meal detailed in the Old Testament was a prophetic "remembrance" of events yet to come -- a Prophecy revealing the true Messiah. This is the real meaning of the words "Do this in remembrance of me."
Jesus is basically told the Apostles (and us) that what was about to happen (his sacrifice) had already happened, he was just fulfilling it so that we may come to recognize him. Had any of them been as learned in the teachings, they would have caught the subtlety.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Ultimately, what's funny is that the people who fought hardest to prove he was not the Messiah were the ones who, unwittingly, performed every single rite necessary to prove he was.
God's got a funny sense of humor, I tell ya what!
It was an allegory about the discovery of a holy substance known as medicine.
Herbs, wine and "bread". The bread is a mushroom. Anointing is done with oil. The oil is aromatic and anti parasitic, much like the herbs, and would have often contained hash oil ("kaneh bosm" in the Bible).
They found out how to heal and divinate to higher realms of consciousness with plant medicine.
Plants acted as entheogens and gave people theories about life, affording to them a lens into consciousness and the soul. Theory's root word is Theo, which means God.
Blemishes have to do with the quality of the mushroom. Unblemished is what they sought. Mushrooms grow on decaying matter...they "rise from the dead". They are the strongest, most divine substance known to man (King).
When Judas "betrayed Jesus" he was giving up his stash, his "king" substance, to the council. That substance was the origin of their religion and beliefs.
Interesting, but I think you're stuck in the 5th Kingdom of Creation.
You describe the floral/herbal/living/growth path to what is called by some the Philosopher's Stone.
The stone has many shapes and forms, and can manifest by way of any of the Kingdoms. The name Philosopher's Stone is derived from one method -- the material or mineral by which things are known between their likenesses.
Jesus is the Perfection of the Stone in the 7th Kingdom -- The Kingdom of Man/Mercy/Completion as denoted by the 7th Day which is attributed to the resting of God after creation has completed and as preparation for the trials of ~Confirmation(8th) leading to the ~Triumph(9th), which are known only to God and I can barely stomach trying to name.
None other had made it as far to Perfect the 7th Kingdom, though some (Revelators such as Buddha, perhaps) came to know it personally, they never perfected the Stones they crafted in its holdings. Perfection of this 7th Kingdom bestows the "First" Among Men the Key to all doors in the Mansion of Many Rooms. With the Keys, Jesus can Ascend and Descend at a whim through all Spiritual Kingdoms as well as Physical. It gives him authority over what some call the Jacob's Ladder or the Yggdrasil or the Sefirot.
That's not to say he is Ratatoskr, as that role more than likely falls to the Spirit Christians recognize as the Angel St. Gabriel.
Instead, Jesus is not the Messenger, he is the Message.
The Word of God.
Then there is the Bread of Life, which is the panacea, the Chrism Oil. It has many names.
Philosopher's Stone, Chrism Oil, Sacred Secretion, Holy Grail (Vessel of the Stone), It*, Grace, the Anointing, A Great Work, etc.
Limiting it to one name and to one Kingdom limits the person's perspective, not the Stone's ability.
Ultimately it is the Divine Essence, the Substance of which permeates the Universe and gives things form.
More than all other titles, it is Love.
For without Love of itself, and the other within it's self, the Universe ceases to be. Such is the inevitable Truth, that a selfless bearing of one's being to all others, within and without, is necessary for such a thing to continue to be.
Jesus is the fullest expression of Being and the fullest expression of Love in proper portions, assuming the perfect balance of radical moisture and radical temperature as described by Alchemical Philosophers, except in the Kingdom of Man as opposed to the Kingdom of Material.
Think on that for a bit. I'm still grappling with the ideas myself, but I hope I expressed them well enough.
You've expressed it well, and I believe that I understand it.
The 7 levels you're describing comes from India and the 7 chakras, with the 7th heaven being the crown chakra.
It was a fundamental part of Christianity and you can find evidence of Yoga throughout Christianity.
Interesting you mentioned Mansion of Many Rooms, have you read Mansions of the Soul by Harvey Spencer Lewis?
You are right about love. But do you understand it? I guess it's convoluted now, it took me a while.
A fully balanced man, as with Jesus, is where the mind is tempered by the heart. It requires the discovery of the fact that consciousness is not exactly related to the head or brain, it is a full body experience (7 chakra levels). There is heart consciousness and the heart does have intelligence like the brain. This is expressed in Buddha's revelation of the 8000 types of worms in his body that feeds when he feeds, or the miracle of the five loaves and two fishes by Jesus, adding up to 7 chakras (2 in the head aka "fish" aka Pisces). And you will find it in Plato's allegory of the cave as well, he was defining the subconscious (cave) and the higher consciousness (outside the cave) that is within us all. You can listen to your subconscious (lower chakra levels) or rise to the higher levels. But to get there you must know Goodness, and Plato discussed the highest of all forms, the Form of the Good. Through this form, of what I believe is love, we can achieve the highest wisdom, intelligence, and consciousness. Because to use your mind correctly you must have inner truth, and to have that, you must not lie to yourself because this creates shadow people and shadow rooms where you hide stuff (the truth) from yourself, you must love yourself and seek truth.
The Virgin Mary gave birth. How does a virgin give birth? Because it's symbolic. Mary symbolizes marriage, a wedding. It is the wedding of intelligence + love, brain + heart, male essence + female essence, or as they say, the Great Work.

The mushroom is what allowed me to actually open the door, and hear the Word.
It's great stuff. I'm extremely happy now. You have to be careful though, entheogens are not for everyone, and modern psychology will have you putting your divine experiences in the "psychosis" bin. That's too bad, because the Orthodox Jews had a full system of using divinity responsibly. It has to do with fasting, mass, communion. Those were disciplined ways of consuming medicine for rewarding breakthroughs and healing.
Jacobs Ladder = Kundalini = Serpent Energy = Spirits
Crown of Thorns = Corona (Sun as in Plato's allegory), Crown of Thor, Crown Chakra
Good = God
Theory = Doing God = Contemplating God = Thinking about the Good
Hare Krishna!
You'll be excited to hear that I think/know there are more than 7 Chakras.
As I said before, 8 and 9 are next up after you Perfect the 7th. I roughly can call them the ~Confirmation and the ~Triumph, but there is no True name for them, as they are beyond the scope of an un-Ascended human mind.
Consider the Act of Creation.
Creation occurs in stages.
FIRST PHASE - Genesis - 3
The Concept, where the inventor considers making a tool that performs an action. The inventor has no picture in his mind what that tool looks like, but rather a series of actions whatever the tool ends up being will perform. There is no form yet, just an idea of what actions are necessary.
The Temporal, where the inventor must consider if the Concept is possible at all, in being able to make it and if it is simply whimsy or an authentic invention / Great Work. In addition, it must be considered how long of a time frame it must be accomplished in.
The Formal, where the inventor begins to imagine what form it will take, where the hinges, bends, cuts, bevels, etc. will end up. Nothing has to be written down yet, it's still the idea phase, but a tangible blueprint is beginning to take form.
SECOND PHASE - The Cycles - 6
The Material, where the inventor considers what he wishes to make the invention out of. Not every material is suited to the task. Things must be organized, catalogued, and their properties examined. The blueprint can change at this point, as choosing a metal over wood allows any particular component to be of different dimensions, with the purpose remaining intact.
The Sourcing, where resources are gathered to fulfill the design's needs. Individual components are made, and are put in their proper places of storage. Not everything must be done in a certain order, but some components do require others to already exist in order to do test-fits.
The Construction, where the finished components are combined together to make the final item. There is a definite order in which the invention can be constructed -- an instruction manual, if you will, where things are rigid but components that can be put on in tandem leave room for loopholes which may or may not cause problems. If not for them, the person putting it together is simply going through the motions.
THIRD PHASE - The Triumph - 9
It is hard to name these, as we only are privy to 7 and 8, where 9 is a complete mystery known only to those who have seen the mind of God and still live.
Now, this is where Chakras leave off. There are two more Chakras yet to be explored. The first 7 are introspective, within the self, where the other two are extrospective, outside the self. What good is the invention if it is not put to use? How are we known? By our bodies? By our talents? What about by our WORKS?
The Trials, where the inventor tests his creation to guarantee it works as he intended. He puts it through its paces and wears it down to test its durability. He gives it a phasing, noticing the weak spots and modifying them as necessary -- loosening screws or adding beads of solder to ensure perfect balance. Wearing that does not ruin the invention's actions are marks of honor that the invention is rugged enough yet precise enough to do what it was meant to.
The Triumph, where the inventor celebrates on his Great Work coming to fruition. He allows himself to be proud of his creation and that he was given the opportunity, mind, time, and resources to honor God for allowing him to gift the world with something that will change peoples' lives for the better. Furthermore, he must take care to finalize the blueprints so that others may follow in his path, craft the same tool he has, and use it to make their own Great Works.
Onlookers have no idea what the inventor is making until the 7th stage. Once they see it in the 7th stage, many fall away, thinking that there is nothing beyond it. They fail to consider LIVING WITH the Creation now they fully grasp its concepts.
From Genesis in the Bible until Jesus, the Universe was working through the 7th Day of "Rest". The Universe is currently ending the 8th Phase of the World's Creation and moving into ITS 9th. We, as humans with individual agency, are collectively still in the 6th Kingdom and are moving into the 7th, which is to know the mind of Creation.
This is why I claim Buddha only entered the 7th Kingdom, but he did not Perfect the Stones he crafted there. He told people what to do, but he did not act in the world in ways he was capable. He sat on his laurels and cheered on those who were still climbing up the cliff's face. He sat at the top of the cliff and told them how great it was, and that the trials are worth it, but he didn't take the next step.
He didn't get down on his hands and knees and offer a hand to those nearing the top. He didn't sacrifice his own time in the new phase of life in order to expedite the time being spent by those in the lower rungs on the ladder.
That's what separates Jesus from Buddha. Jesus not only entered into the Kingdom of Man, of full enlightenment, but he went back to the lower Kingdoms and began tossing those he knew were unlikely to make it on their own up a rock or two.
Jesus knows that Paradise is pointless if you're the only one to get there.
Jesus was the First among Man to realize this once he attained Enlightenment, and so he became a Servant of Servants and humbled himself, living among the sinners to save them from the burdens (sins) they accumulated, with the flawed thinking it would help them climb the cliff or that they could take it with them to Paradise. In other words, they packed more than was required.
He sacrificed his own rite to Paradise, threw himself down the cliff, and swore to climb it again, as many times as necessary, so that we may all one day join him at the top.
He is the true Teacher, one who escapes the burning building, and then not only instructs those still inside on how to escape but goes back into the burning building to drag out those who are failing to follow his instructions.
Jesus isn't just the Hero archetype of antiquity; He is the Savior archetype. The Hero among Heroes; the King of Kings; Lord of Lords.
The Mushroom of which you speak, is one of many Stones; one of many Great Works by which we can come to know Creation. For some, that is all that is necessary. For others, they must form the Stone in ALL 9 Kingdoms in order to finally Ascend to the top of the cliff. For those with this greater task, much will be given but more will be asked.
By their own stubbornness they delay their Ascent. But in that stubbornness, they have an opportunity to be Great Leaders, having personally witnessed every Act of Creation by the time they finally make it to the top. These are the Anointed, and we must not mistake their better "luck" for a lesser burden.
Yeah thanks for the replies, good stuff.
You explain creation from a hermetic alchemical perspective, which I tend to enjoy. In freemasonry you have the Solomon's Temple, possibly a real story (debatable) or allegory about self improvement. King David's "uniting of the Israelites" (dominion over the lower realms / subconscious) and "he captured Jerusalem" (holy city / heaven / enlightenment). In the Plato sense, he brought his "people" (subconscious) up and out of the cave.
Enlightenment can often be had through the mastery of your craft (career work) for example, or raising a kid. Your three phases adding up to 9 remind me of three trimesters and 9 months until birth.
The Rig Vedas Soma hymn explains the making of a holy plant medicine. Soma had many names, as they say the Lord does.
The practice of medicine/physician was sacred and goes way back to a time before writing.
Before there was the concept of the Great Work in culture, there would have been plant medicine and divinity, or you might say proto-alchemy. So I'm not sure exactly when the allegories make their way into history, but it must have started when the first man ate the first plant and wanted to tell others about it. So the plants spoke to us, and we spoke about it.
This is the importance of Plato's allegory of the cave, which explains just this. The freed prisoner who sees the Sun outside the cave (Truth), will return to the cave and help the other prisoners get free. That is the duty of a philosopher king, to elevate others to the same height and not leave your own brothers to dwell in a cave.
So what do the lower kingdoms represent? Plato explained that it is actually two things. Your subconscious is a cave of dwellers who inform you and whom you can obtain dominion over (emotions). And society has it's cave dwellers too. This is what Plato's Republic was about, that the phenomenon of this cave is both within us and outside us. Enlightenment is an internal, and then external process. Marcus Aurelius was an example, who not only transcended his own cave, but also that of the people, and elevated his entire community out of the shadows, as well as generations to come.
Entheogens? Like shrooms?
