I inadvertently started reading the works of Benjamin Franklin. How come no one writes like this any more? Its insane! I have to look up the words he is using just to comprehend this stuff. We should all seek to "be best" in these times. I wholeheartedly agree with writing, but write with "meaning" and "feeling". Man, we have lost so so much over a few hundred years.
Because we no longer have a proper education .So impressed with our founding fathers...read their letters you have a chance. Eloquent. I have a lovely little book that I found at a Resale shop of the letters between John & Abigail Adams. Blew my mind. Had the same thought as you u/gk4448.
Felt very inadequate after reading.
I know, I thought I was clever writing my 5 paragraph essays for English and getting outstanding marks for them. I feel like a total idiot now. Our forefathers knew what it was all about. The Declaration of Independence, amazing! No one speaks like that now. It makes ones heart ache for the words...
We all pursue LGBT rights and Pedophilia rights and Communist rights... Whatever happened to pursuing freedom and liberty and justice? Where did it all go wrong? You and me, just want to be left to be free with the rights bestowed by our creator. When did the government introduce itself into that process and why did we let it?
We should all read the founding fathers words and dredge that back up into our fundamental consciousness. These are words to live and die by. So help me God.

I certainly come off abrasive and am no fren to doomers, but I pretty much have been living by these for a while and I am much happier with one exception: I will never give up Taco Bell. Plus you can eat healthy there. They do have those options and they are tasty.
