Yes, what he mistakes for stupidly interpreting "bad data", was assumed all along by people like us.
When the data presented is by nefarious creatures, it would be reckless and stupid to assume they're telling the truth.
And for most of us, it was basically Pascal's wager: Either we're wrong, in which case we have a 99.8% chance of surviving anyway (actually higher if you research the role of Vitamin D, Zinc and other treatments) -or- we were right (bad for Scott).
I smelled the conflict of interest a mile away.
That's what I told my doctor. "If I'm wrong, I can take the vaccine later. If I'm right, I live to wonder why others didn't see what I saw when analyzing the data."
So far I'm batting 1000.
