PCR was designed as a lab tool. Not as a medical diagnostic tool. It was designed to take a single section of DNA, copy it many many times to amplify it and make it viewable and measurable. Not to tell you you are sick, or the thing you are sick from is going to kill you. That's straight from the creator, Kerry Mullis.
PCR Tests gave a lot of false positives. So is useless. mRNA vaccine is for others uses than protect from a flu with different name. So mRNA vaccine have a lot of adverse situations like miocarditis.
Not useless. I don't know about you, but I find that ppl are highly suggestible. Good, old senior citizens whose lives have been dictated by medicine for decades (and trust it) would readily accept a positive pcr test and immediately take to their beds and imagine the symptoms--real or not. I've had ppl argue with me about how they "had it! the corona!" Even TWICED! The power of suggestion. So they get the sheeple doing half the work for them, proving it's all real. And with at-home testing we'll see more of this. I don't know if the world of medicine makes them feel "special" when they have a "condition"? Or, they feel like they're part of something, anything?
Became a useful tool to get those swabs up as many peoples’ noses and down throats as possible, delivering nano particles. In addition to money making as said below.
MRNA research has been going on for 30 years with not too much to show for it. The biggest hope was to somehow reverse or control diabetes. Lots on that. Here's a "This is tougher than we thought" article and that's the general story.

PCR was originally designed to date fossils.
I think also to boost dna to readable levels when doing forensic investigations with very small samples. See "Forensic Files" TV show.
It amplifies already present DNA strains. It does not tell you if those DNA strains represent an actual ongoing infection.
