We are in a war with the DS and they use every tool they have against us. One of those tools is alcohol. It is advertised like it's essential to your existence as a human being.
It is one of the most potent weapons they have. What do we get out of it? Absolutely nothing. It is a downer, a depressant and a burden on your body.
The DS even went as far as starting a trend that praises the "dad bod" and as another patriot in here mentioned, they left them open through out the lock downs. That and fast food of course.
It has some benefits but we don't apply it in that manner. This is the time to get fit, physically, mentally and spiritually.
The countless benefits in your daily life are enough to cut alcohol out but consider these two extra reasons:
1. The DS won't use fat slobs to come to your door if shit hits the fan. If you can't hold your own cause you're overweight, panting and unable to move, the 2A won't do you any good
2. President Trump does NOT drink alcohol and makes that very clear
Happy New Year, Patriots. God Bless.
I'm quitting too. I've been extremely depressed lately and binge drinking hard lately. I feel like I'm in a self deduction mode and I need to stop before something bad happens. I have no hobbies or passions anymore because any spare time is spent drinking. I'm going to take a year off from drinking to see how much better my life can be without it.
Do it. Whatever you gotta do, do it. Day by day, fren. For me, when I want something I know I shouldn't have or do, I think about the feeling I'll have AFTER I've broken my own rule when I'm tempted. It helps.
When you feel the darkness the last thing you can do is say “screw it”.
That’s never going to work and we all know it.
Build something. It’s what helps me. Find some project you can get done and do it.
Remember growing up and the older guys all had projects constantly? There’s a reason.
Alcohol is so heavily promoted in our society that going alcohol-free takes some getting used to. Don’t be discouraged during the first few months. You might still have dreams that include drinking but they’ll fade. Some of your old drinking buddies might drift away, but true friends will support your decision. Your thinking will get clearer and your priorities will shift towards the big picture, but it might take time for your self improvement to manifest itself in some ways such as career. Be patient. You’ll have more time and energy for working out and new projects.
This is bang on.
Once you kick it your old passions will return. And although goals are good, you won’t even want to drink later on. Your health, physical and mental will increase and you’ll regain self-worth and pride. Depression is a constant as a drinker, but it too will lessen until your brain chemistry rebalances. You get past detox and it’s smooth sailing Fren 💕😎🇺🇸 Edit; a big part of staying sober is losing old patterns of daily life ie reminders of people, places & things that “haunt” you from your time as a drinker. If you drink with others…that’s the hard part cuz THEY don’t want a fellow drinker to change. You won’t get support from them. Some people love AA because they’re surrounded by those on the same path, and had to change their old patterns. Also, think of it as a life or death quest (it IS)…there’s a spiritual side to this too so LEAN ON GOD to get you through the hard times. He’s there for all of us but you gotta WANT His love?! He ALWAYS delivers 👍🏽
You don't need it fren...you have us. We are your family!
They have poisoned us in SO. MANY. WAYS. Physically, mentally and most important, spirituality.
POTUS doesn't drink. He wants to be in total control of himself and always sharp...100 steps ahead works for me.
God bless all here who are trying and all who have succeeded! o7 🙏🌟
