So. We’re probably in for something that’ll make 2008 look minor and probably rival if not surpass the Great Depression. What a time to be alive.
Could the White Hats have another system ready to smoothly transition into ? I thought I remembered something about the Fed merging into or coming under the authority of the Treasury when the Trump administration was somewhat new.
There are theories suggesting a gold backed currency is ready to go.

Possibly. And likely. But there’s probably going to be a period of painful years for most of the population before finances stabilize. Can’t magically switch systems overnight. And the expectation things will immediately improve following the completion of any such switch is probably more naive then anything.
People, Businesses, and the Economy would need time to adjust. Prices would have to be recalculated. The Value of Labor would change. Given the worth of the currency changed. Which means payroll is different. Which means businesses need to recalculate their budgets to account for the state of the currency and it’s value. As well as associated costs of running a business
Undoubtedly things would readjust. But it’ll probably be quite a while before it became truly stable.
Getting down voted by idealists who think the world is going to magically become a conservative utopia, without any work from us.
The world is going to be burned to the ground, and we're going to have to rebuild. I think what currency we are using is honestly going to be one of the smaller problems on the plate (what with replacing an entire healthcare, and judicial system)
