Dan is great. I've been a subscriber for awhile and when Ron told me he was friends with him, I asked for an intro. That's how this show was born.

I like listening to Dan but there are times when I find him clueless about a few topics and I find myself rolling my eyes or saying something out loud, alone in my truck driving😁 My wife exclaims out loud to some of his remarks as well when she’s in the truck with me. He admits his lack of knowledge on this or that so it’s all good. I like his show. I’ve enjoyed the first couple round table shows too, but haven’t listened to the third yet.
I think Dan knows a little bit about a lot of things. Broad knowledge vs deep?
I love his show, but we met when I called Ron and told him I needed to correct something from Dan's show. We've been friends ever since.

My buddy and I have tossed around the idea of a podcast, recorded audio for fun, but have never released anything. Must be a thrill
It has been a bit of fun, especially after I got over the stage fright. I've never liked cameras or the spotlight, but those guys have been badgering me for months and I finally gave in.

I wish Rumble had a feature to play with the screen locked like YouTube vanced or any of the music/podcast players like podbean. I listen to podcasts while walking my dog usually for an hour at a time so I wouldn't want a video playing on screen in my pocket the while time.
Does Odysee do what you want? I'm going to make a channel there later today.
I've never used odyssey. Normal YouTube doesn't do it either but YouTube vanced on Android which blocks ads also let's tou turn off your screen while still playing audio.
Spotify does, Amazon music does, podbean and most dedicated podcasts players do. Rumble even with the app I wasn't able to (I guess they want you watching and not listening or something)
Never tried odyssey though
Here's what I do. I use Opera browser. I'm on Android.
Open rumble podcast in browser. Let it play.
Open new Opera browser tab (or GAW, lol). Podcasts stops.
Call down top menu. Press play.
BAM, podcast plays with the screen locked.
Rumble does, on iPhone anyway. You have to play picture in picture first, not in the browser. Then you can go to lock screen and it will keep playing the audio. I don’t think it used to, but I accidentally did it today.
I'll see if one of the other guys has an audio upload.

I'm very pleasantly surprised by the reactions here. The video is up to over 500 views, and I think most of those came from here. That's up 500% from Episode 1, and not bad for a neophyte account.
For the record, I've spent a bit of time on GA.win in the past, mostly lurking, because there are some topics this place researches really well. So your invitation was an easy one to accept, as I have a bit of a feel for the frog culture here.
