I'll believe it when the first 55k pages come back without every word but Pfizer, vaccine, and effective redacted.
Don't underestimate the government, their people can play games pretty well.
Pretty sure I saw this exact scenario happen in another country recently
Not surprised!
Great point.
Didn't cunt Hillary release her server emails all printed out just to make it a nightmare for anyone to read through them?
Iirc yes. They certainly weren't a searchable database like the Podesta emails.
And the PDF format the government uses for most FOIA responses is not very searchable because, let's say the document is an email, it will be printed, redacted, and the redaction scanned to pdf
Yep, often at an angle haphazardly.
Yup my favorite, or reproduced at a resolution or shade either too dark or too light to read with a little note saying "best available scan"
Will you? Or will you find an excuse to pivot and shift your goalposts too.
I have pretty extensive FOIA experience with both state and Fed governments.
I also spend a lot of time reading medical studies so my own vaxx choice won't change bit I'd love to see some actual information released by the PTBs on this.
I mean will you actually believe it or will you change your tune to, "these 55K pages are all nothing"?
I am genuinely asking for yourself. To pose this as a challenge to you. BUT... it seems you have experience and are also anticipating 55K pages of literally nothing? Because I could see them fulfilling the request with loads of bullshit in which case, I guess a pivot would be warranted. Guess we'll see...
Yeah, unfortunately in this case it really is a "wait and see" proposition. With the government's general tendency to presume the opposite of the spirit of the law (anything that is not directly prohibited is SUPPOSED to be released) and their past behavior in my experience, I am fully anticipating a nothingburger. Sure, we'll get 55k pages MAYBE or they might find another judge to stay this ones ruling. To paraphrase MLK, I want to judge on the content of the pages, not the color of their redactions.
We'll end up with the world's first 55,000 page Table of Contents.
