They battled it on their own path and faced the warriors quest
There you go!
On their own path.
That's the ticket!
There are many paths, but there is only one Way.
Some will stay where they are. Others will turn back, back to what they know because they fear what is to come.
Others still will move from side to side, choosing their own way only to find they are stuck between going left and going right, yet both are the same as staying put.
The only Way is Forward.
The Beauty of life is being able to move left and right while still moving forward.
That's why God put Left and Right on the Way, so that we may all find our own Path to Him.
So he can be astounded by how even though there is a straight and narrow, there are those who would willingly take the long path to him, swerving left and right but always returning to the Way, if only so that they may experience the scenic route; so that they may take time to enjoy Life for what it is -- the Greatest Gift from God
God put many paths before us, and half lead forward while half lead back.
Only one path is The Path.
But every Path that leads to Him faces Forward.
Some (those moving too far left or too far right) just take a bit longer to realize it doesn't have to be as hard as they are making it out to be.
Only those who reject the Way Forward will stay put or turn back. Those who stay put are in purgatory, and eventually (given infinite time) they will make up their mind. Those who turn back reject the Way, and so Reject their future Self.
Out of Fear of losing their Current Potential (and the Limitations they think make them unique), they sacrifice their True Potential.
All those in Hell are those who refuse God. God is known by his Mercy -- the fullness of Love bestowed unto the Law in Holy Matrimony.
Those who Reject His Mercy are those who Refuse to ask for Forgiveness.
There is no measure of time, space, or thought for how quickly God can forgive. His forgiveness, His Mercy is the heartbeat by which the Universe drums to. If God did not forgive his Creation when it would defy Him, he would not have made it. That he does openly forgive proves that he Loves what he has made -- even enough to die for it.
