I sometimes get the diet tonics, with no added sugars.
But isn't it then an artificial sweetener? Not sure those are healthy.
Q tonic is sweetened with agave.
However, modern tonic water doesn’t have nearly the level of quinine as was in the stuff used prophylactically against malaria.

Sure a temporary "splurge" is probably not going to harm you, but I was talking about doing it over a prolonged period.
Toss in some bitters..that's also good for stomach issues...
