It's not,I would guess it's the most conservative city in America. Abbreviated city names is also common on the right. as much a I like to give commies shit myself,this is not a fair shot.

NYC, OKC, MPLS, Philly, San Fran, So Cal, ... Detroit.

More of places shorten either their names or their economy and you really hope it's the former.
