It's based on Asclepius, the ancient Greek god of healing who carried a a snake-entwined staff.
The question is, why did this Greek god carry a snake-entwined staff? My Granddad was killed by a cobra bite 39 years ago, so I pay attention when snakes are mentioned. Snakes are beneficial to us based on killing rodents. But are/were they beneficial to us 2400 years ago, in ancient Greece? For medicinal purposes?
Is this a snake, or a parasite (based on the recent controversial post made on greatawakening.win, for which I didn't save the link. Doh!

They considered the snake shedding it's skin to symbolism healing and renewal.
Examine Numbers 21:6-9
And Israel moved on to worship (idolatry) it - 2 Kings 18:4
Dr Fauci has been around for longer than you think?
It's from Numbers in the Bible, section 21:8: And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
Thank you for that....

pharmakeia
the use or the administering of drugs

sorcery, magical arts, often found in connection with idolatry and fostered by it
metaphorically the deceptions and seductions of idolatry
This is old hebrew kabala magi shit. Pharoah had a couple of them if you recall. Now remember what took place between Moses and the two Magi pharmakeia practitioners. Moses laid Aarons on the ground and it became a snake so Pharoah ordered the two magis to do the same. Which they did and they became two snakes. Then Moses snake proceeded to devour both of the magis snakes. Staffs and snakes.
