Take the most recent data and extrapolate up to the second. Doing this with official numbers isn't dishonest. Just happens the official numbers were completely fucked.
I think the covid website was a propaganda tool designed from made up data and designed to look terrifying. First off who was feeding it the official data of all the countries of the world. I'd say that source was likely making it up too. I believe those websites were set up prior as propaganda tools.

Logic suggests they used the average death toll over time for a recent period to estimate deaths per hour.
