Look at the videos from Samoa and Tonga last night. These are small tsunamis, but I wouldn't want to play around in this:
That's interesting. I was at a credit union yesterday and on their monitor in the bank there was a need thing of what's happening and it specifically the that the earth quake in Cali does NOT pose a tsunami threat.

Spouseanon just brought this up - I checked and the waves are expected to be...1-2 feet. But stay away from the coast! It is laughable.
(For perspective, Mavericks waves are between 25-50 feet.)
