What do you mean he did not align with Trump? It's the mainstream media that's pushing that narrative that canidates still in league with Donald Trump are no longer popular with our voting base. Which is total BS in my view.

You can align with MAGA and not Trump. There are good reasons not to align directly with Trump such as 2A issues and the vax. Plus if we are truly for accountability, reasonable dissent is expected if not encouraged.
