Yeah I think we'll be far beyond shame. This has been like a typical grieving process to watch. Once the anger subsides, forgiveness and joy will come. It's human normal.
You are right. Sometimes it's hard to resist the temptation to say....I told you so. Its Such a childish response. I have to remind myself I too was misled for a long time. I now see and think very differently. But I have had just over a year now to deal with the breaking of my world view and Trust. It's been a very different journey than what I had planned for my life at this point. I now see it more as grieving. Missing the idealized vision I had planned. These 2 years have been a roller coaster. For those getting smacked with reality it's going to be tough for them to accept this.... Cognative dissonance is going to break a few people. I get a lot of strength from my Faith and pray many find their way to God and His love.
I’m sorry but the way these people have treated their fellow man over the last 5 years there will most definitely be some I told you so’s. These people are brainwashed and it’s a fact that ridicule is the #1 strategy to wake them up. Your not trying to make friends you trying to save them.
I think we are well above the juvinality (new word?) of being the I told you so guy. Remember, we are here to help those that ask for it. The rest can beat off in a corner for all I care. For those that want it and ask I'm here to help.
No one cares about shaming the Enemy, the Enemy will be punished, corrected, reformed, controlled. The Enemy must be eradicated in fact, not locked away in a welfare slavery or nurtured back towards sentience, it must be Dealt With.
