Here is an exchange I found on twitter:
Some MD posted this:
Multiple emails/texts from colleagues/friends whose kids got infected with COVID in schools, figuring out next steps:
Some parents doing a full court press to avoid getting infected, isolating the kids having them mask
Others throw up their hands, assume everyone gets infected
One reply:
We sold our home, packed up our house and moved over Christmas break, to a new town an hour and a half away. Because we finally found a school taking COVID precautions seriously. Masks. In room HEPA filtration. Staff vaccination. My girls hadnt been in school in 2 yrs.
And people responded to the guy above that he is a good parent!
I'm not a doctor or psychiatrist, but I believe we have harmed quite many kids, as they try to become adults.
Not me, fren. I'm not participating in this crap.
I mean "we" as a society, not us here.
oic, thank you for clarifying.
