You should be able to disable it if you own it outright. There’s plenty of people who would finance a Land Rover, if they could, and drive cross country never to be found again. It happened a lot.
I pay cash as well, but I buy used vehicles. From what I’m told, dealerships, on new vehicles, will not accept cash. And this is coming from an uncle work(ed) as a salesman for Ford/Nissan.
Yup! Companies are able to hit the kill switch and track for repossession purposes.
Which is bullshit, because financing is usually 3rd party.
