They just haven't used it much at all. They don't want to advertise this automobile tracking and shutdown ability.
Let's put it this way: If you can call Onstar to unlock your car doors remotely... what makes you think they can't turn off the car engine? Any time the NSA or DOJ needs to, they can shut down any car (or massive #'s of cars) in the U.S. within a few minutes time.
First thing I did was disable On-Star on my truck. If you remove the entire thing you'll throw a shit ton of codes but if you remove the board that sends and receives signals you're good!
