Or two.
When travelling in our motor home, I have a 45 strapped on always, a 12ga shorty clipped on the side of the bed, an AR on brackets between the driver seat and side. I don't worry about anything.
Now you just need tank tracks and some steel plates welded on all the way around.
And in which state(s) do you travel in that configuration? Are the shotgun and AR loaded whilst traveling? I’m curious.
Any states that honor my Concealed Carry permit and don't get their panties in a bunch. I avoid states like IL. States we've visited in the last few years, MO, OK, TX, AZ, AR, TN, MS, AL, FL.
No good unless loaded and chambered.. The only time unloaded is when kids aboard.
In which state is your cc permit? Cc does not cover loaded rifles or long guns in virtually any state within a vehicle. I’m sorry, but either you are disobeying the law or stretching the truth here. As a former FFL, I sense something amiss in your statements. A fully loaded AR mounted in an operating vehicle will lead straight to handcuffs almost exclusively unless it’s a pistol configuration. A loaded shotgun is for sure.
MO permit. The rifle isn't "mounted", it's on a "clip rack" as is the shotgun. Some states prohibit loaded long guns, some don't. Takes seconds to unload and throw mags in the safe if needed. Most of our travels are within our state and loaded long guns are perfectly legal as long as not concealed.
LE background, never unarmed since.
id follow your motor home down the high way to hell! that's sick! no fear!
