Completely agree: either really really dumb or completely complicit at their patients' expense; and in this case some of the patients have paid with their lives. But what this covid bs has shown me is that they do this as a matter of course. What other type of bs things have they done or gone along with? cancer? other deadly diseases? Ahell, the entire vaccine protocol?!?
And WTF are they doing with Remdesivir when we have HCQ, Zinc and Ivermectin that can actually help with basically ZERO risk. I suspect they are killing people to keep the Federal dollars coming in, and the government wants covid patients dead to keep the numbers for their waves of fear campaign. I think they get paid for each person they kill with Covid-19 on the death cert.
So you can understand why I'm so fucking pissed at them.
And this person comes here and tells me the doctors are innocent. No fucking way they are.
Medical School trains really high-level technicians with established protocols and medications approved for only certain conditions. The 'creative thinkers' are the private practice doctors and those in research (ie, not beholden to an overriding Group Practice manager (physician or otherwise) who is responsible for a bottom line to 'stakeholders').
Sorry I've no sympathy and no understanding of their perspective.
Because they dropped the ball, I've had to learn all this shit about viruses and immunology and do their fucking job for them. They can't use the excuse that they are dumb or not paying attention. This is their fucking job to search for information about how to help their patients, and when things doesn't seem to be making sense they shouldn't have used their brains to figure it out. Like we had to.

Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses. They find new ones each year.
The CDC has covered up the Lyme epidemic for decades.
Infectious disease doctors and neurologists routinely gaslight patients and tell them "Lyme is cured by 2 weeks of antibiotics" or "Lyme does not exist here."
The ELISA test for Lyme is inaccurate 50% of the time. You can test "negative" on it and still have Lyme.
Lyme suppresses the immune system, drills into bone and tissue, hides in biofilms and cyst form.
Lyme is everywhere, ticks are everywhere, they are carried by migrating birds. Does your city have mice, feral cats, coyotes, or raccoons? It has ticks.
I hear you. My question was partly rhetorical. I know they pull this bs in many other areas of medicine. We have a "health care" system that's policy- and protocol-driven rather than preventative and treatment. But policy-driven health care is much more lucrative for all except the patient.

They actually do get bonuses for using Remdesivir on their patients. All they need to qualify for the bonus is a positive test.

EDIT - not an excuse
