No store bought beverage or water is safe. People need to filter their own water and do not purchase any manufactured beverages.
For sure, if one can find a reliable water filter... For say if someone finds a good filter and uses it to filter the bottle water?
Thanks for the TIP
They can get very large and very expensive. My buddy uses a Berkey water filter and says it can be expanded with more filters or something so it wasn't even it's final form.
I have heard you can build your own berkey system with food grade buckets and parts on the cheap and then just buy the berkey filters. The filters alone can be pricey, though.
I had a Berkey for 10 years--beautiful stainless Royal, I believe. During 2019, I began having filter issues. I know what the flow rate should be and the water was streaming through the filters. Tried twice to rectify and they were not helpful. I finally got an on-the-counter R/O system and have been very pleased with the water quality. Filters are cheaper as well. I add liquid minerals to the filtered water.
Reverse-osmosis is like gold standard, worked in biochem with injectables, and the RO machine was the center of the lab.
This is what my buddy with the berkey wants to eventually use.

Thanks for the tip.... Nice https://www.berkeyfilters.com
Yeah they went super crazy with the health stuff when they decided to have a kid. Lost a ton of weight and learned to cook some amazing healthy meals. Pretty smart idea the other response to this had if money is an issue.
I use an osmosis filter that has a filter to put back some minerals.
I have done that with bottled water when I am not sure of the source.
Or get a well put in. We are in Missouri and the second I hear about tainted water if it’s before we get our well dug, I’m illegally going to collect from the natural Springs that are “protected”
Good deal. Spring water is the way to go if it is uncontaminated. Well water isn't necessarily safe depending on where you live. I'm out West and lots of the well water can be contaminated with heavy metals because of all the mining that took place. Now, because of the created drought situation, they are finding ways to reclaim the water and they are starting to pump all kinds of crap, pun intended, into ground water to replace it. They say it is not in the drinking water, but for how long. The fact that they are using reclaimed water in the parks where children play is concerning.
If you can find someone that can drill for sweet water, that is ideal and you never have to worry about contamination. It is just hard to find someone that knows how to find it and drill for it. I knew an old man years ago that knew how to dowse for sweet water. He had contractors that would employ him on the side secretly to find water for them. They didn't want others finding out they were using a water dowser to locate water for them. I wouldn't have believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. He was right every time and he made a pretty good living at it too.
Sweet water? What’s that? My Grampa was both a willow witcher and a bee charmer. My mom said he found lots of well sites that way.
Another name for it is primary water. https://exploration.transformative-technologies.com/index.php/applications/primary-water-theory/
I have a ton of bottled water but I am filtering it.
I bought one from 4patriots.com. I filter bottled water and sink water. Then I put into jugs and store it in case things go to shit.
That is a good idea... What kind of filter do you use?
I do that as well. Every little bit helps. We just cannot trust anything anymore.
Nope you sure can't.
