Excellent advice that I agree with wholeheartedly. I tell myself that all the time. It was really more of a statement of frustration rather than a deeply held feeling.
I have been doing a deep dive into biology, medicine and science lately; areas which I have devoted no small part of my life to, and I am amazed that I never got the bigger picture before. I knew about all sorts of corruption and shit, and I never put two and two together to see the larger Four picture.
I was so brainwashed, I don't even recognize the person I used to be.
But you are right. Those experiences shaped me, and who I am now is better off for it. Who I will be will be (in some hypothetical future of greater knowledge) is being shaped by the ignorant idiot who is typing right now.
My words suggest a harshness I don't actually feel. I appreciate the growth. I am just indulging the frustrations of impatience inherent in watching grass grow.
Don't think that way ... Those experiences, good or bad, shaped you to be the person you are today. Trust me on that :-)
