I know people can drive what they want to, but that seems excessively large for a passenger vehicle.
The narrative description doesn't match the pictures. His car was just a few feet over the line. I wouldn't be surprised if his car wasn't moving at all until he saw the other car about to hit him, and he tried to get out of the way. The car in back saw the car moving and thought the light changed and jolted forward. I know the intersection, and it's the only story that makes sense. 'Course I didn't see it happen so it could be something else, but they have a lot of pictures. And the Prius driver messed up somehow.
