Ya mean the same masks the CDC just came out and admitted are useless, those masks?
Doing me a favor and saving me money
Thankfully, our Safeway is pretty chill about masks since the employees hate them too. But the Walmart is strict. So I have one of those Fakemasks, and if they tell me to put on my mask, I just smile and pull it out, look through it (it’s just a soft mesh fabric) and put it on. They can still see my smile. It does absolutely nothing (same as theirs), but I can still breathe, and honestly—it’s kind of a burn on them. I can still do my shopping since I am technically complying, but also showing them that this whole thing is a big farce.
That's the definition of "woke"! Vaxxed and unvaxxed can get it, spread it, be hospitalized for it and die from it. This is employee abuse, aside from the fact that wearing a mask is like chicken wire as a window screen against bugs.
I used to shop at Albertsons. A little over a year ago, I walked in without a mask. A huge, lumpy woman who could barely catch her breath was sitting near the shopping carts with a walkie talkie. She sheepishly waved hello at me and welcomed me.
A few minutes later, while I was shopping, aanother woman approached me with a walkie talkie in hand. She claimed to be the manager, and asked if I had a mask. I said "no." She proceeded to tell me I needed a mask to shop there. I put down the basket I was holding and told her that I'd take my business elsewhere.
As I was leaving the store, I passed the fat woman on the way out. She was still looking terminal, struggling to sit in a small chair by the door. In the most annoying, smug tone I've ever heard, she said "Have a nice day." I wanted to cut that shit-eating grin off of her face.
My company had the same policy for a while, then when delta supposedly surged we had to start wearing masks vaxxed or not. Now we’re hearing they’re going to continue that policy but require n95s or better.
