These biologics have never been proven to be effective at treating any disease and have no long term safely studies. Regen-Cov in particular is engineered synthetic antibody therapy. We have no idea what the effects of injecting these manmade proteins will have on the body. I guess like with the risks of facing death due to cancer, when someone is faced with the choice of going to the hospital or taking this therapy, one can justify those risks. But some people have been using mABs as a prophylactic treatment. That is crazy and unwarranted. The spell of fear needs to be broken.
