She's just supposed to give up decades of seniority to go start at the bottom at some other airline? You're O.K. with complying with vaccine mandates that require you to violate your personal religious beliefs? She's not. And that's how you stop the mandates.

I've never heard of someone being unable to access their 401k for any reason. I can take my 401k out but I have to pay a tax penalty because I am not 59.5. Maybe they have a clause in their contract. I didn't sign a contract and am an at-will employee and can be fired at any time.

They (over 2000 pilots, dispatchers, flight attendants, mechanics, rampers, and support people) are fighting the fact that UAL would not provide a reasonable accommodation for religious/medical exemptions to getting vax'd. Indefinite unpaid leave, no benefits, paying for health care, no accrual of senioriity, etc. Essentially terminated for not getting a vax. Some choice, right?? This goes against the American Disabilities Act, specifically under Title VII. This is the unique (without precedent) case before the 5th Circuit. Give these folks your support by spreading the word. Some companies won’t let you take out the matched portion if you haven’t worked for a certain amount of time…vesting schedule is the term.
