My husband got sick Saturday evening. By Monday evening he had a low grade fever. Since he was also coughing and had upper respiratory symptoms I told him to take the Ivermectin pills we purchased from a Frontline Alliance Doctor. He didn't want to and really preferred to save them for when he really got sick bc it cost so much money to get the pills. I talked him into taking them. Better to take them early than to wait. He is in his 70's. He took the first day dosage Monday evening. Within hours his temperature was back to normal. And he felt better the next day with less coughing. He walked a mile on our treadmill with no problem. After the second day (today) he is feeling even better. Just an occasional cough. And no fatique or other symptoms. He is back on the treadmill again.
We are going into an urgent care clinic tomorrow that will prescribe Ivermectin. He couldn't get an appointment in there until tomorrow. Even though he will most likely feel better he wants to get another script for it now that he knows it works.
So far I haven't seen any symptoms myself. But it may still be early yet.
I guess I must be really sick. I’ve been on ivermectin and I’m still pretty sick. At least I’m not in the hospital.
If I may suggest - increase your dosage. As in my recent experience, I started a little too late and I wasn’t taking enough (started at 36 mg until my PCM told me to increase it to 48 mg/day; prophylactic dose is usually 18 mg/day). Also - where are you in the progression - I think anything beyond 7 days after the start of your illness and it might not be as helpful (virus is gone and your next worry is a bacterial infection taking advantage of a weakened immune system). However, my PCM told me to stay on the increased ivermectin till Day 10.
Now - TLDR - SHORT STORY LONG - from a recent horrible COVID(?) experience, I was also taking ivermectin (24-36 mg) while sick and not seeing a difference (even though I had taken ivermectin (18-24 mg) before on three previous occasions over the past year and within four to six hours each time it had completely wiped out what I was coming down with). But this time, I’d been very sick for about three or four days - wife finally took me to the Emergency Room and once the doc found out I was not vaccinated (douchebag actually rolled his eyes at the news), my wife mentioned that my PCM had a list of things that she wanted dispensed to me immediately (oxygen, steroids, antibiotics) and the doc said “No, you’re not going to get anything of those things. The most I’m going to do is give you an inhaler, and that’s it.” I then told him I had tested negative twice for COVID and I thought I might have a rota virus instead of COVID, and he told me “No, you have COVID, and if you don’t have it, you’re going to get it. I guarantee it.” “So what’s next?” I asked and in response he said dismissively, “In a few days you’re going to develop COVID Lung, and then we’ll let nature will do its thing.” (IOW, “You’re going to die.”). I wanted so bad to punch that asshat’s face but I was too weak to move. My wife told him, “We’re getting out of here.”
When we got home that night I took an increased dosage of ivermectin (48 mg). Within a few hours I felt much better and was able to make it upstairs to the bedroom. I was nowhere near out of the woods but I could definitely feel I made a sudden turn for the better. The next morning my prescribed drugs (Budesonide, Prednisone, Doxycycline) and the supplemental oxygen arrived (my oxygen saturation was at 84%) and within a couple of days it was back in the-low-to-mid 90s (made a huge difference). My wife also doubled my supplements on PCM orders (D3, Quercetin, Vitamin C, NAC, Lysine, etc.,) and made sure I was eating and drinking on a regular basis. A few days later I finally crawled out of bed to take my first shower in over a week and was shocked to see myself in the mirror - I looked like Tom Hanks after four years on the island. I ended up losing 23 lbs over a 10-day period. I’ve regained 15 of those pounds and can feel my strength coming back slowly. The only other remaining annoyance is a nagging, shallow cough, but that’s also fading away with a nebulizer (mix of distilled water, hydrogen peroxide, and iodine).
Overall it’s been a rough and wild few weeks for my wife and I (she had it, too, but not half as bad as me). I hope you fare much better. (One last thing to add: I also started taking HCQ with ivermectin, and although I’m not sure if it helped with my illness, it definitely ELIMINATED my chronic lower back pain from an earlier back injury in December. I’m now going to ask my Doctor to prescribe HCQ for my back pain.).
Good luck!
Oh crap - one last thing: apparently Quercetin can neutralize ivermectin if taken together. Split the two items apart by 12 hours if taking both.
Oh, man, thank you for this. So good to hear someone has swam in the same pool. This has been a rough ride.
I’m so sorry for what you went through at the ER. It makes my skin crawl. If you told me that doctors name, I swear to god, I’d call that hospital right now and threaten his license. I’d literally harass him until I had him shaking in his boots. I’m so tired of the evil. After lying here sick for nine days, I’m out for retribution. If I saw Tony Fauci, I’d punch him in the face.
So, the minute I got Covid, I started a protocol but it was a learning process. I took the HCQ with paste and doxy and C,D, and zinc. I was doing 400 mg of HCQ per day. But at the end of 7 days, I realized after some gain, I was sliding backwards. On the 7th night, I knew I was going in the wrong direction. The next morning, I took 24 mg of Ivermectin throughout the day and that’s when things started to turn around. I’m doing 6 mg of Ivermectin pills three times a day, 10 mg of prednisone, D,C, and zinc and an aspirin and doxy.
I learned a lot. HCQ wasn’t the panacea for me. It is for some, but not for me. But the good news is that I started doing SOMETHING right away and I think in the long run, it kept me out of the hospital. My oxygen never went below 94, so there’s the proof right there. If I could do it all again, I’d have done Ivermectin right away and forgotten the hydroxy. But everyone is different. I think experimentation is in order. Another thing is, there’s a lot of conflicting information about dosage, etc, so you’re on your own a lot. You’re literally fighting for your life——some of us.
I’m sensitive to drugs so I can’t just load up like other people. I have to be measured and calculating, otherwise I get too much in my system and it starts working against me. It’s been a dance, honestly, but I think I’m now getting better.
I hate that doctor. May he get his eyes and heart opened or get everything he wanted for you.
So glad to hear you are on the mend.
Best 2 advice and buys from me since being hospitalised with covid in Aug last year, is to have these at home 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
One of these: Kan-Breathe - to clear the lungs, phlegm etc.,

One of these: to check oxygen saturation (should be 94 and above) deep breathing and movement helps to make it higher
A Pulse Oximeter, Oxygen Saturation Monitor (One that links to a smart phone is really good, my daughter was able to monitor me while she still worked from home while I was still on the oxygen)

u/AtomicBlond - I hope you feel much better soon:)
I used these after coming home from covid ward btw the hospital in the UK I was in was excellent, knew I was not vaccinated and treated me like royalty. So pleased as it was the opposite to what I have expected. Only just realised, they knew my husband had died the week before, maybe thats why the exceptional treatment. Never once mentioned my not taking the jab after the first initial assessment in the emergency dept.
What is PCM an acronym for?
And really sucks that "doctor" basically wanted you to die. People like that should be terrified to walk the streets.
Zinc it up
Are you taking pills or paste? Along with vit C and D? Quercetin? Benadryl and fexofenadine?
I have six mg pills and I weigh 120. Right now I’m doing 12 mg a day
Just raid the whole medicine cabinet and shove pills hand over fist, why don't you?
Lots of vit D and C. Take the entire Mask Protocol. We took over 100 thousand units of d3 for 2 or three days. Also a baby aspirin.
Are you taking the proper dose for your weight?
