i think if we had clean elections, 70% of our problems as a nation would vanish. I don't think we'd even need term limits as long as elections and primaries were clean.
If we can achieve that it would be a great first step. I'm on board with that.
What we are seeing in battleground states right now, which are largely, if not all, controlled by "conservatives" is basically zero effort to confront and remove the voter fraud. That tells me these "conservatives" are in on the fraud and they will do nothing about it. In many cases, these are long serving politicians that have worked their way up to influential positions in their parties. It is my personal belief that they rose up to those positions of power because they were blackmailed, bought out, or otherwise unduly influenced by those who want to control them. If there were term limits, it would be harder to control politicians via blackmail or bribery, because they wouldn't be in power very long due to term limits.
you mean like eyepatch? he betrayed maga almost immediately. what corrupts these people are threats and bribes. anyone can be succeptible at any stage in their career.
i just don't think term limits will do anything except limit the amt of time we can have people like ron paul or jim jordan. Once we finally get maga candidates in office, theyre like gold. But they'd have to be tossed just like the rest in the case of term limits.
double edged sword kind of a deal. as long as youre not on the recieving end of it its fine, but if it were turned on you, it would be no bueno.
I think most of our issues should go on the back burner until election reform is achieved. And after a few rounds of honest elections, THEN see where we're at with the other stuff.

I really like your take on this and I agree with you.
With ACTUAL fair elections we can get rid of politicians at the ballot box.
Because of corruption, guys like McConnell seem to stay forever. With fair elections, I doubt guys like that get reelected.
