Why are we learning one week later the balance of the Senate could be tipped?
🧐 Research Wanted 🤔
So it appears a democrat US senator had a bad stroke one week ago the same day Justice breyer announced his retirement.
They kept this information until it leaked out. Why? They were trying to pretend and tell themselves he would be back to work and just a few weeks.
He has had brain surgery to have damaged removed and the swelling stopped.
Me think it was kept from us because they don't really know and don't want to talk about Joe Manchin and Sinema in being off the hook!
That is big news and just awful for any human being and to not tell the country for a week?
Steve Gruber is covering this on Real America's Voice.
Stay tuned...
Makes me wonder if he was privately signaling to Schumer that he might side with Manchin and Sinema.
Lujan? Not a chance. I live in NM and that dude is as true-blue party-line democrat as you will ever find.
My prediction:
If push comes to shove, Lujan will resign due to health and his "maybe sort of cousin" Michelle Lujan Grisham, our Governess, will appoint an even WORSE democrat to fill in for his seat until the mid-term elections in November. With democrats in charge of all three state branches of government and almost all local county level election apparatus - whomever is his replacement is sure to retain the seat. I would not be surprised if Lujan Grisham anoints herself his replacement since she's up for reelection this year anyway. She wants a bigger stage than NM can provide and she WAS on pResident Burden's short list for VP also. Lujan will get some under the table payoff and an appointment to some cabinet position upon his recovery.
Isn't it the job of the State Legislature to find a fitting Candidate then vote then in as a U.S. Senator for NM???
I think that's how we were taught it was supposed to be done....
Been a long time away from home.....
Oh, and look up Jefferson L Byrd on FB, he is one of ours....
Maybe we can get him in.....
All Senators used to be appointed by state legislatures until the 17th Amendment made them directly elected by popular vote AND it also specifically gives the states executive officer (Governor) the power to fill vacancies that occur between elections if their legislature gives the governor that power.

Yeah, that's one POS we need to get rid of.....
Never did like the 17th.....
But I think in the NM Constitution it says that the Legislature still has to directly approve someone for the Gov to appoint......
But I could be wrong......
