The olympics is basically a bunch of rich kids playing games because mommy and daddy spent lots of money on training and coaches.

Pro sports, college sports, the olympics are all dying a painful death. Our culture used to embrace the hard work, the success stories, competing against all odds, the miracles on the athletic fields. I too was an athlete and embraced the ideals of pure athleticism (especially amateur athletics). As today's "elite" athletes taint the sports, the competitions, the pure journey of being an athlete, they kill the whole industry that they are trying to profit off of. Who watches this stuff anymore???
