There is a ton of content on Spotify and its prevailing use (music) appeals to a wider audience than anything Joe Rogan puts out, world wide, with overlap into that same audience.
I'm sorry but this was a delusional statement to make. Spotify was huge before Joe, it'll be huge after Joe.
I took it as hyperbole. But plenty of artists are already pissed that they pay $0.0000001 per stream and all the money the platform made was paid to Rogan, who will now walk away. It will hurt their PR very badly.
